Athena Actuarial Consulting is a woman-owned consulting firm providing actuarial and analytical services across government, non-profit and corporate sectors. The firm was founded in August 2020 with the intention to scale quickly and intentionally from a one-person shop to a small employer focused on growing a diverse workforce. Athena’s emphasis on empowering women and other underrepresented groups is paired with strong technical expertise in the areas of retirement actuarial services, health actuarial services, data analytics, and data-driven decision-making. Aside from feeling confident that consulting fees are being allocated to employees in an equitable manner and back to the community via Athena’s various community initiatives, our clients benefit from the team’s “big firm” experience without the “big firm” inefficiencies and red tape. Athena currently operates as a Minnesota-based remote firm, with employees residing in Minneapolis, MN; Seattle, WA; Washington, DC; Nashville, TN and Tampa, FL.
