Assisted Employment Services (AES) is an employment services provider dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities achieve meaningful, competitive, and sustainable employment. We work closely with Florida Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), employers, families, and community partners to provide individualized employment support based on each participant's abilities, interests, goals, and support needs. AES provides employment services throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and the Florida Keys, connecting participants with employment opportunities while building strong relationships with local businesses and community organizations. Our services include Employment Placement Services, Employment Service Plans (ESP), Supported Employment (SE), On-the-Job Training (OJT), Work-Based Learning Experiences (WBLE), Pre-Placement and Work Readiness Services, job coaching, job retention, and ongoing employment support. At AES, our Employment Specialists and Job Coaches work directly with participants throughout the employment process. This may include completing initial intakes, identifying employment goals, preparing participants for interviews, completing applications, communicating with employers, developing job opportunities, assisting with workplace accommodations, providing on-site job coaching, and supporting participants after they begin working. Our work does not end when someone gets a job. AES continues to provide support to promote successful adjustment, workplace independence, job retention, and long-term employment stability. Our Mission Our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities by providing personalized employment services, advocacy, training, and ongoing support that create opportunities for independence and meaningful participation in the workforce. Our Approach We believe that every participant is different. Employment services are therefore individualized rather than one-size-fits-all. Our team considers each person's strengths, abilities, interests, transportation, schedule, support system, employment history, and long-term goals when developing an employment plan. We also believe in building partnerships with employers. By understanding both the participant's needs and the employer's expectations, AES works to create successful employment relationships that benefit everyone involved. At Assisted Employment Services, our goal is not simply to find someone a job—it is to help each participant build the skills, confidence, support, and independence needed to succeed in the workplace.
